Chelsea assistant manager Roberto Di Matteo says he will discuss his future at Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Roberto Di Matteo has insisted he is happy playing second fiddle to Andre Villas-Boas at Chelsea but will discuss his Stamford Bridge future at the end of the season.

The former West Brom manager took a step down after his sacking from the Hawthorns by becoming Villas-Boas's assistant manager in the summer.

Di Matteo's contract with the club expires this summer and recent reports have linked him with a return to management.

"I'm very happy to be here. It's my club," said the former Blues midfielder.

"I feel at home and Andre and I have developed a very good working relationship, so it's something we'll discuss maybe at the end of the season."

The Italian enjoyed six seasons at Chelsea as a player between 1996 and 2002, making 119 appearances and scoring 15 times.
