Chelsea are pressing ahead with plans to build a new stadium at the derelict Battersea Power Station.
The club have appointed Mike Hussey, chief executive of developers Almacantar, while architecture Kohn Pedersen Fox will design the plans for the stadium.
A Chelsea spokesman said: "In the past, we've talked to various people with interest in Battersea Power Station, but we haven't had any discussions with anyone regarding that site for several months.
"However, in light of current developments, we now think it prudent to look again at the feasibility and potential for the BPS site to be developed for a football stadium."
Chelsea will look to return to winning ways when they host Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
