Rafael Benitez has insisted that he is in no hurry to make a return to management.
The former Liverpool boss has been out of work since leaving Inter Milan in 2010.
Despite admitting that a managing a club like Chelsea would appeal to him, the Spaniard will not be hurrying the Blues in their appointment process.
"I have said before, many times, that I would like to find a top side that can match my desire to win trophies," he told BBC Sport. "I haven't had a proper offer on the table from Chelsea, but there's no rush.
"I'm just waiting since I left Inter Milan. No rush, I'm just waiting for the right project.
"I won the European Cup with an English club. What do Chelsea want? A manager who can win in Europe. But no rush. I will wait until the summer."
Benitez spent six seasons at Anfield.
