Rafael Benitez believes that the quality in all areas of Chelsea's squad will help them overcome Corinthians in Sunday's World Club Cup final in Japan.

Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez has insisted that the quality of cover in the Blues squad can help him breed a winning mentality.

The Blues are preparing for tomorrow's World Club Cup final against Corinthians in Yokohama, a competition Benitez feels can prove important in Chelsea's season.

He told reporters at the pre-match press conference: "We are trying to keep the winning mentality, we need to stay compact and not defend too deep if we can.

"Corinthians are very well organised and good defensively, it will be hard to create opportunities.

"But the good thing about this team is that I can choose any player and they will come in and do a good job."

Blues striker Fernando Torres declared earlier this week that Benitez was having a positive impact on the squad and helping the team move forward.
