Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has claimed that his side will "try everything" to have Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino available for the EFL Cup final with Chelsea on Sunday.
Jota was pictured on crutches after suffering an ankle injury in the Champions League win over Inter Milan last week, while Klopp initially said Firmino would be out for "a while" with a muscle issue.
The two attackers missed the 3-1 win over Norwich City and are set to sit out Wednesday's meeting with Leeds United, but Klopp has refused to rule out the prospect of Jota and Firmino stepping out onto the Wembley turf.
Speaking to the official Liverpool website, Klopp said: "It's too early [to make a decision]. I don't even know if it will be a late decision or not; how I said, it's too early.
"I saw them both today, they both look great – but those two always look great. We have to see how the specific issues develop but we obviously will try everything."
Meanwhile, Chelsea have been handed a double boost with Mason Mount and Cesar Azpilicueta ahead of the EFL Cup final, although Reece James and Ben Chilwell are set to miss out for the Blues.
