Jose Mourinho relaxed on Gary Cahill, Diego Costa injuries

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho plays down the injuries suffered by Gary Cahill and Diego Costa against Barcelona.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that he expects both Gary Cahill and Diego Costa to face Arsenal in the Community Shield this weekend.

The pair were injured in the Blues' final pre-season game against Barcelona today, which resulted in a penalty shootout win.

Cahill left the pitch in the last few minutes after scoring his side's second in the 2-2 draw as he suffered a suspect broken nose, while Costa felt a niggle in his hamstring.

Mourinho told the club's official website: "Cahill has a chance of a broken nose, maybe yes, maybe no. If no, perfect. If yes, he will get a mask tomorrow to be ready for Sunday.

"Diego felt a little thing in his hamstring. We believe it is just a feeling, no more than that, but we have to wait."

Chelsea took the lead through Eden Hazard, but Barcelona pair Luis Suarez and Sandro Ramirez put the La Liga side ahead before Cahill's late leveller.
