Chelsea suffer an injury blow as defender Andreas Christensen limps off with an apparent hamstring problem during their Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

Chelsea have been dealt an early injury blow in their Premier League clash with Bournemouth this evening after Andreas Christensen was forced off in the first half.

The centre-back pulled up while making a simple pass and was immediately withdrawn by manager Antonio Conte shortly before the half-hour mark.

The injury appeared to be to Christensen's hamstring, and the Denmark international will now undergo scans to discover the severity of the problem.

Christensen was replaced by Antonio Rudiger, with Chelsea hoping to draw level with second-placed Manchester United by beating the Cherries at Stamford Bridge this evening.
