How Chelsea could line up against Sheffield United

Chelsea are able to welcome back midfield duo Mason Mount and Jorginho for Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final against Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge.

The pair were suspended for the Champions League triumph over Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night, but made their support heard from the stands with jubilant celebrations alongside the injured Thiago Silva.

Silva remains sidelined for this one with a thigh problem and will now look to return to action after the international break.

The same is true of Tammy Abraham, who is the FA Cup's joint top-scorer this season but will miss Sunday's match with an ongoing ankle injury which he will use the break to recover from.

Andreas Christensen should be back available after illness, though, and he could be one of a number of changes made by Tuchel from the side that started in midweek.

Olivier Giroud, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic will all be pushing for starts after being named on the bench against Atletico, while there could even be a rare appearance for Billy Gilmour at the heart of the midfield too.

There is competition for places throughout the Chelsea team, but particularly at left wing-back, where Marcos Alonso started in midweek before both Ben Chilwell and Emerson Palmieri came off the bench in stoppage time.

Emerson's only previous minutes under Tuchel had come in the FA Cup and he will no doubt be hopeful that his goal one minute after his introduction earns him a start on Sunday, but Chilwell is above him in the pecking order as things stand.

Chelsea possible starting lineup: Kepa; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Zouma; Hudson-Odoi, Jorginho, Gilmour, Chilwell; Pulisic, Giroud, Mount
