Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez admits that his side will have to play to their full potential if they are to progress through to the FA Cup final.

Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez has insisted that his side have learnt from their mistakes ahead of their FA Cup semi-final clash with Manchester City.

The Blues failed to score against City during the two Premier League fixtures between the two teams, and Benitez believes that the Stamford Bridge outfit will have to be at their best to defeat Roberto Mancini's men.

The 52-year-old told BBC Sport: "We know what we did wrong against them in the league and we'll make sure that we don't make the same mistakes.

"They're a good team in a good position in the table, and did well against Manchester United the other day. We know it will be difficult but it's a semi-final in a massive competition.

"They're a good team, a strong squad. They have a manager with experience and they have confidence at the moment. We know we'll have to do our best if we want to progress."

The winners of Sunday's tie will face either Wigan Athletic or Millwall in the final.
