Frank Lampard and Branislav Ivanovic are both given a rest for Chelsea's upcoming match against Sparta Prague.

Interim manager Rafael Benitez has confirmed that he will rest both Frank Lampard and Branislav Ivanovic for tomorrow's Europa League match against Sparta Prague at Stamford Bridge.

Lampard has featured in all 13 of Chelsea's matches in 2013, while defender Ivanovic has missed just one.

With that in mind, Benitez has decided to give the duo the evening off.

"Frank has been playing a lot of games," Benitez told a press conference. "Managing the squad means we can keep fresh legs on the pitch."

Chelsea go into the match having won the opening leg in the Czech Republic last week 1-0.
