Vicente del Bosque announces Spain squad

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque names his squad for La Roja's upcoming international games against Costa Rica and Belarus.

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has named his squad for La Roja's upcoming matches against Costa Rica and Belarus.

The European champions will first travel to Costa Rica on June 11 for a friendly, before continuing their Euro 2016 qualification process against Belarus on June 14.

Sevilla trio Sergio Rico, Aleix Vidal and Vitolo have all been included alongside Celta Vigo attacker Nolito, but Chelsea's Diego Costa is omitted having only just recovered from injury.

Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago is surprisingly not included, but there are plenty of familiar names in the party.

Full squad

Goalkeepers: Casillas, De Gea, Rico

Defenders: Carvajal, Pique, Bartra, Ramos, Alba, Bernat

Midfielders: Busquets, San Jose, Koke, Cazorla, Iniesta, Fabregas, Isco, Vidal, Nolito, Silva, Vitolo

Forwards: Morata, Alcacer, Pedro
