Chelsea interim boss Guus Hiddink has claimed that his side will have a good indication of how far they have come under the Dutchman when they take on Paris Saint-Germain in Paris on Tuesday night.
The Blues only won four of their opening 16 Premier League matches this season and currently sit 12th in the table after struggling to match their form from last season.
The English club have not lost a single game since Hiddink took charge in December, however, and they will enter the first leg of their last-16 clash in the Champions League off the back of a 5-1 win over Newcastle United in the league.
"Paris are building a very strong team, dominating the French league. To become a great club, a team must win the Champions League, and they're certainly aiming for it," Hiddink told reporters.
"On our side, we've been improving since December, but it'll be a great test to get to the next round. We're growing. Everyone knows the current situation of Chelsea. We're improving step by step, with quality players.
"We are not yet where we want to be, to be able to impose our style of play, but we've had a string of games with dominant play from us. So we have to find the answer."
PSG have not lost in any competition since suffering a 1-0 defeat at Real Madrid in the group stages of the Champions League on November 3.
