Bayern Munich defender Holger Badstuber believes that Chelsea will be attacking in their upcoming Champions League final.

Bayern Munich defender Holger Badstuber has claimed that Chelsea will go on the attack in their upcoming Champions League final.

The Premier League side booked their place in the final after a defensive display over two legs in their semi-final victory over Barcelona.

However, Badtsuber believes that Roberto Di Matteo's side will play their part in an open game of football later this month.

"I'm sure Chelsea will want to keep it tight at the back because we have a fantastic forward line, but they'll also want to go on the attack themselves," the German international told Bayern's official website.

"I don't think they'll be as defensive as against Barcelona. I think they'll contribute to a game of football and try to take the initiative.

"I think it'll be a much more open match, although Chelsea are obviously strongest in defence."

The final takes place at Bayern's own Allianz Arena on Saturday, May 19.
