Charlton Athletic sign Astrit Ajdarevic on loan

Charlton Athletic have signed Belgian attacking midfielder Astrit Ajdarevic on a six-month loan deal from Standard Liege.

The 23-year-old, who spent time with Liverpool as a youth player, has previously worked with Addicks boss Chris Powell during their time together at Leicester City between 2009 and 2010.

Ajdarevic has struggled to make an impact at Standard since joining from Swedish side IFK Norrkoping in June 2012.

Meanwhile, Belgian businessman Roland Duchatelet completed his takeover of the South London club this afternoon.
