Charlton Athletic forward Igor Vetokele picks up Championship gong for August

Charlton Athletic forward Igor Vetokele has been named as the Championship's Player of the Month for August.

The 22-year-old Belgian has been in prolific form so far this season, scoring five goals in five games for the Addicks.

He found the net on the opening day of the campaign during a 1-1 draw with Brentford before striking again against Derby County and Huddersfield Town.

The youngster's run of goals continued last Saturday as a brace helped his team draw 2-2 with Brighton & Hove Albion.
