Video: Young Celtic fan with Down's Syndrome wins SPFL's Goal of the Month award

An 11-year-old Celtic fan with Down's Syndrome wins the SPFL's Goal of the Month award for January.

A young Celtic fan with Down's Syndrome has won the Scottish Professional Football League's Goal of the Month award for January.

Eleven-year-old Jay Beatty has been given the gong after he took a half-time penalty in Celtic's 2-0 victory over Hamilton on January 17.

The youngster received 97% of the votes on the SPFL website for his strike, and former Celtic forward Georgios Samaras announced the news via video.

Samaras brought Jay to the public's attention when he plucked the youngster out of the crowd during Celtic's title-winning celebrations last season.
