Liverpool consider Gary Hooper swoop?

Liverpool are reportedly monitoring Gary Hooper's availability following a breakdown in the striker's contract talks with Celtic.

The Reds have only one fit striker after Fabio Borini recently suffered a fractured foot while on international duty and are keen on bolstering their attacking options.

They could now swoop for Hooper after the 24-year-old's contract negotiations with the SPL champions hit a snag, according to talkSPORT.

Hooper's current deal with Celtic ends in summer 2014.
