Edouard 'pricing himself out of Premier League move'

Premier League clubs are reportedly being put off a move for Odsonne Edouard due to the Celtic striker's wage demands.

The 23-year-old has been linked with Brighton & Hove Albion, Southampton and Crystal Palace among others this summer after scoring 85 goals in four seasons at Celtic Park.

Edouard is out of contract in less than a year's time, and Celtic are believed to be open to offers of around £15m for the Frenchman.

However, agreeing a fee with the Scottish side is only half the battle, with The Sun reporting that Edouard is also after £85,000 a week from any interested clubs.

Should a deal fail to materialise before the end of the month, the Paris Saint-Germain academy product will be able to discuss terms on a free transfer from January.

Edouard, a £9m signing from PSG in 2018 after an initial season on loan, has been benched for Celtic's last three matches.
