Celtic sign Efe Ambrose

Celtic sign Nigerian midfielder Efe Ambrose from Israeli side Ashdod on a three-year deal.

Celtic have confirmed the signing of Nigerian defender Efe Ambrose on a three-year deal.

The 23-year-old, who has 14 caps for his country, has joined from Israeli side FC Ashdod.

Ambrose can play at centre-back, left-back or as a defensive midfielder.

He has also played at Under20 and Under-23 level for his country.
