Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney claims the togetherness at Parkhead has helped guide them through a tough start to the campaign.
After winning six domestic trophies out of six under Brendan Rodgers and making the Champions League group stages twice, Celtic have encountered some difficulties after losing Patrick Roberts, Stuart Armstrong and Moussa Dembele and struggling to get new players in.
The Hoops dropped down to the Europa League, where they face Salzburg in Austria on Thursday, and lie fifth in the Ladbrokes Premiership after taking 10 points from their first six matches.
But Tierney hopes they are back on track after successive wins over St Johnstone and Aberdeen.
Launching Celtic’s new DVD, Access All Areas – the Making of the Double Treble, Tierney said: “We know a few performances have been below our normal standards and the standards we like to set, but when the standards are that high, there’s going to be games like that.
“For us it’s come early in the season. We will be looking to get that out the road and hopefully it will never happen again.
“Who’s won the league after seven games? It’s very early on.”
The 21-year-old added: “You are going to get criticism at a club like Celtic. There is a lot of people out to get you as well.
“The coaches, the team and the fans all stick together and to have that family feeling between us all, knowing we are fighting for the same cause, is brilliant at Celtic.
“We are all professional football players so we know ourselves if we have played well or if we have not played well, and what we need to improve on.
“Your manager and coaches tell you what to improve on and they are the ones who matter.”
