Ronny Deila: 'Celtic ready for anyone in League Cup semi-finals'

Ronny Deila insists that he does not mind who Celtic meet in the semi-finals of the League Cup.

Celtic manager Ronny Deila has insisted that his side are prepared for any test that awaits them in the semi-finals of the League Cup.

A 6-0 victory over Partick Thistle on Wednesday night secured Celtic's spot in the last four of the competition, but Deila is confident of beating any of the three sides that remain as he looks to make his debut season as successful as possible.

"For me it is about winning trophies and we are now two wins away from getting the first one," the Norwegian told reporters. "So I am looking forward to the semi-final, who we meet doesn't bother me. We just have to win.

"What you remember when your career is finished is titles and that's why I'm here - to win trophies and make sure Celtic is successful. To do that we have to meet whatever team is in front of us."

Rangers, Aberdeen and Dundee United are the other teams in the hat for the semi-final draw.
