Agent: 'Hooper wants new Celtic deal'

Gary Hooper's agent says that the Celtic striker in keen to sign a new contract with the SPL leaders.

Gary Hooper's agent has claimed that the striker is keen to sign a new deal with Celtic.

The 23-year-old has found the net 15 times in all competitions this season for the SPL leaders.

"We are pleased to be representing Gary Hooper exclusively and are meeting Celtic next week to discuss Gary's situation," Simon Dent told Sky Sports News.

"He's loving life in Glasgow and really enjoying his football up there.

"We have had interest from a number of clubs in England but at the moment Gary is focused on winning the SPL with Celtic."

Hooper moved to Celtic Park from Scunthorpe United in 2008 for £2.4m.
