Girona will continue their battle to secure a European finish in La Liga with a trip to a struggling and out-of-form Celta Vigo outfit on Tuesday night.

The visitors are currently eighth in the table, two points behind seventh-placed Athletic Bilbao, while Celta sit 14th in the table, only four points ahead of the relegation zone with three games left.

Girona have had an excellent season, but they have only won three of their 17 away league games this season, so it is difficult to back them to win with any real confidence, even against a struggling Celta side. Real Sociedad will be aiming to take a huge step towards securing qualification for next season's Champions League when they welcome Almeria in La Liga on Tuesday night.

The home side, who beat the champions Barcelona at Camp Nou on Saturday, are currently fourth in the table, five points ahead of fifth-placed Villarreal, while Almeria sit 13th, four points clear of the relegation zone in the battle to stay in Spain's top flight.

Almeria's home form this season has been excellent, but they are a different team on the road, and Real Sociedad will fancy their chances of securing all three points here. Valladolid vs. Barcelona (Tuesday, 9.00pm)

Champions Barcelona will be bidding to return to winning ways in La Liga when they make the trip to relegation-threatened Real Valladolid on Tuesday night.
