Half-Time Report: Atletico Madrid being held by Celta Vigo

Atletico Madrid are being held to a goalless draw by Celta Vigo at the Estadio Balaidos in La Liga.

Alex Lopez collected the ball on the edge of the area, before firing it just wide of the post for the first chance in what was an evenly matched opening 45 minutes.

The Madrid outfit created chances of their own, and if not for Yoel Rodriguez's save after 26 minutes, Koke's strike would have given the visiting side the lead.

A fine save by Thibaut Courtois was also needed to deny Celta from making the breakthrough on the brink of half time, with Charles's effort heading towards the bottom corner before being turned away.
