Bolger in Cardiff loan move

Cardiff have signed Shamrock midfielder Aaron Bolger on loan, the League of Ireland club have announced.

The Republic of Ireland Under-19 international is under contract at Shamrock for this season and the Dublin club did not put a time-frame on his Cardiff loan deal.

"@ShamrockRovers confirm the loan transfer of @aaronbolger21 to @CardiffCityFC with immediate effect," the Dublin club posted on their official Twitter account.

The 19-year-old central midfielder has been named in the Republic's U21 training camp, with the squad preparing for a game with Ireland Amateurs on Wednesday.
