Maximiliano Amondarain secures Cardiff City exit

Cardiff City have announced that defender Maximiliano Amondarain has departed the club.

In 2013, Malky Mackay handed the Uruguayan a four-year contract, but he failed to break into the first team during his time in South Wales.

A club statement read: "We would like to thank Maxi for his contribution and wish him the very best for his future."

Amondarain has previously featured at Under-20 level for his country.
