Robert Earnshaw: 'Malky Mackay's Cardiff City future needs to be resolved'

Earnshaw calls for Mackay resolution

Former Cardiff City striker Robert Earnshaw has called for Malky Mackay's future at the Welsh outfit to be resolved.

The Scotsman reportedly recently received an email from club owner Vincent Tan saying that he should either resign or face the sack.

However, reports have claimed that the 41-year-old has no intention of walking away from the club, despite the ongoing rift with the owner.

"It needs to be resolved very soon," Earnshaw told BBC Radio 5 live. "Cardiff have made a pretty decent start but they're in danger of shooting themselves in the foot. They have got to sort it out."

Cardiff will take on Liverpool at Anfield tomorrow.
