A report claims that Cardiff City will welcome two high-profile European clubs to the Cardiff City Stadium in August.

Cardiff City will reportedly welcome two high-profile European clubs to the Cardiff City Stadium in August as they prepare for life in the Premier League.

According to Wales Online, teams from La Liga and Serie A will both travel to Wales, although the identities of those involved have yet be revealed.

Bluebirds boss Malky Mackay is currently away on a family holiday, but it is understood that the details will be ironed out upon his return later this month.

Cardiff will also travel to Malaysia this summer.
