Cardiff City striker Craig Bellamy has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association for appearing to punch Swansea City's Jonathan de Guzman.
The incident happened on Saturday during Swansea's 3-0 win over their local rivals in the Premier League.
Following a review, a three-man FA panel agreed unanimously that the 34-year-old should have been sent off.
Bellamy has until 6pm on Tuesday to respond to the charge.
