Burton Albion have extended midfielder Darragh Lenihan's loan from Blackburn Rovers to January 3.
The 20-year-old's initial stay with the League Two club finished at the weekend.
The Republic of Ireland international is yet to make a first-team appearance for Rovers since graduating from their youth academy.
Burton are back in action on Saturday when they make the trip to Shrewsbury Town in the league.
