Taft suffers hamstring injury

Burton Albion defender George Taft is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to a torn hamstring.

The 21-year-old suffered the injury on Tuesday during his side's 4-3 win at Carlisle United in League Two.

Taft, who joined the club from Leicester City in the summer, is expected to be out of action for up to eight weeks.

Promotion hopefuls Burton continue their league campaign on Saturday when they make the trip to Stevenage.
