Report: West Bromwich Albion scout watches Danny Ings

Danny Ings was reportedly watched by West Bromwich Albion's chief scout during Burnley's 0-0 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday night.

Recent reports have suggested that the Baggies were favourites to sign the striker, although a number of other clubs are apparently considering a move.

However, The Mirror claims that chief scout Stuart White was present at Turf Moor as Pepe Mel steps up his chase for a new forward.

The club could test Burnley's resolve with a bid before the transfer window closes.
