Crewe Alexandra extend loan of Burnley goalkeeper Danijel Nizic

Crewe Alexandra have reached a deal with Burnley to extend goalkeeper Danijel Nizic's loan spell by a further two months.

The Clarets youngster failed to make a single appearance for the Railwaymen during his initial four-week stint at the Alexandra Stadium.

However, having provided valuable back-up in all six fixtures throughout October, Crewe have decided to keep the 20-year-old Australian on their books until the new year.

Ben Garratt is Alexandra's current first-choice stopper, featuring in all 16 League One games so far this season.
