Ipswich's plummet in the Championship continues as they suffer their sixth straight loss with defeat at Burnley.

Ipswich Town now have the longest losing streak of any club in the Championship this season after suffering their sixth straight defeat at Burnley this evening.

Goals from Sam Vokes, Jay Rodriguez and a Chris McCann brace helped the home side to a four-goal haul at Turfmoor.

Wolves loanee Sam Vokes scored his first goal for the Clarets by glancing home a Keith Treacy corner in the 33rd minute before McCann scored his first by tapping in on the stroke of half time.

Irish midfielder McCann put the game out of reach with his second midway through the second period before Rodriguez made it four 11 minutes later.

It was a result that fully shows the home side's dominance as the Lancashire side registered 24 shots compared with Ipswich's two.

Paul Jewell's side, who were fighting for a place in the top two before the losing streak, are now one place above the bottom three in 21st while victors Burnley rise two places to 14th.
