Burnley put eight past Austrian side Grossklein in pre-season friendly

Lukas Jutkiewicz and Marvin Sordell scored their first goals for Burnley as the Clarets put eight past Austrian outfit Grossklein in their pre-season opener this afternoon.

An Ashley Barnes double, followed by Sordell's first gave the tourists a 3-0 half-time lead before they stepped it up in the second 45.

Jutkiewicz scored his brace either side of a Scott Arfield strike before Sordell completed his double with seven minutes on the clock.

The rout was completed by teenager Jason Gilchrist in the final moments.

Burnley are back in the Premier League this season and host Chelsea in their curtain-raiser on the evening of Monday, August 18.
