Michael Keane hails Burnley's 'best performance of season'

Burnley defender Michael Keane believes that his side's display in their 2-0 victory over Watford at Turf Moor was their best of the season so far.

Burnley defender Michael Keane has described his side's performance during their 2-0 win over Watford this evening as their best of the season so far.

The Clarets picked up just their second win of the campaign at Turf Moor courtesy of goals from Jeff Hendrick and Keane - both of whom registered in the Premier League for the first time.

Keane believes that the hosts were "dominant" in the encounter as Burnley moved up to 13th in the table, now level on points with their vanquished opponents.

"That's our best performance of season. Jeff Hendrick's goal settled us down and I managed to get a goal and from then we looked dominant," he told reporters.

Burnley will next welcome Arsenal to Turf Moor, where they have now picked up seven points from the last nine on offer.
