Half-Time Report: Bulgaria in front against Azerbaijan

Bulgaria have a 1-0 half-time lead over Azerbaijan in this evening's Euro 2016 qualifier in Baku.

The visitors controlled much of the early possession, and they were rewarded on 14 minutes when Ilijan Micanski found the bottom corner from inside the box.

Both sides struggled to create chances after that, but the Bulgarians looked the more likely to score again thanks to some threatening set pieces.

However, the hosts almost snatched an equaliser late in the half when Dimitrij Nazarov's fired narrowly wide.
