Ipswich Town complete the signing of Bristol City winger Paul Anderson, with Jay Emmanuel-Thomas moving in the opposite direction.

Bristol City winger Paul Anderson has completed his move to Ipswich Town, with midfielder Jay Emmanuel-Thomas moving in the opposition direction.

Anderson leaves Ashton Gate after just 12 months at the club where he scored three goals in 23 appearances.

The 24-year-old has penned a two-year deal at Portman Road, which has seen Emmanuel-Thomas drop down to League One.

The Arsenal trainee scored nine goals in 73 games for the Tractor Boys, and the former England Under-19 international has signed a contract until 2015 with his new club.
