Albert Adomah hands in transfer request

Bristol City have announced that Albert Adomah has handed in a transfer request.

However, the club insist that the 25-year-old will not be sold unless a suitable offer is received from another team.

Wigan Athletic have been linked with the winger but have reportedly already seen two bids turned down.

Adomah scored seven goals in 30 league appearances last season.
