Steve Cotterill up for League One Manager of the Month award

Bristol City boss Steve Cotterill heads up the nominees for March's League One Manager of the Month award.

The league leaders kept up their push for automatic promotion last month as they took 14 points from a possible 18.

Dave Robertson of Peterborough United also finds himself on the shortlist after a successful first month in charge, as four wins in six games helped the Posh to claw themselves back into playoff contention.

Barnsley's Lee Johnson takes his place among the contenders thanks to 12 points from six unbeaten games for his side. The Tykes are now looking towards the top six rather than the bottom four.

Completing the quartet is Rochdale boss Keith Hill, who guided his promotion-chasing team to five victories in seven matches.

The winner of the award is due to be announced on Friday.
