Sports Mole looks ahead to Tueday's Championship meeting of two playoff hopefuls, Brighton and Blackburn.

Just a place and two points separate playoff hopefuls Brighton & Hove Albion and Blackburn Rovers ahead of Tuesday's meeting in the Championship.

Brighton sit just outside the playoff spots in seventh, two points adrift of Middlesbrough in sixth after Saturday's win over Hull.

The reverse of this fixture was just under three weeks ago and the two teams couldn't be separated as it ended in a 1-1 draw.

Manager Gus Poyet is still without Ashley Barnes, who is serving the second of a three-game suspension, so is likely to continue with Craig Mackail-Smith and new boy Leonardo Ulloa up front.

Vicente could earn a start after his match-winning free kick against Hull.

Blackburn manager Michael Appleton is likely to stick with the same side that edged Ipswich on Saturday and have won two on the bounce.

Recent form

Brighton: WWDDLW

Brighton: Kuszczak; Bruno, El Abd, Upson, Bridge; Vicente, Orlandi, Lopez, Bridcutt; Mackail-Smith, Ulloa

Sports Mole says: 2-1
