Gustavo Poyet praises his Brighton & Hove Albion players following their narrow victory away at Bristol City.

Brighton & Hove Albion manager Gustavo Poyet has hailed his team's belief after their 1-0 victory at Bristol City yesterday afternoon.

A late strike from Ashley Barnes was enough for the Seagulls to take all three points at Ashton Gate and Poyet has praised his team's ability to keep going until the final whistle.

"We started playing our football in the first minute and tried to keep playing right until the end. We never stopped playing and we never stopped moving the ball on the ground, which is pleasing," Poyet told the club's official website.

"You've got to believe and we did that. Eventually we got the goal and won the game."

Newly-promoted Brighton are unbeaten so far this season and sit top of the Championship table.
