Rotherham United hand debuts to loanees Danny Ward, Adam Hammill and Jack Barmby as they prepare to visit Brentford in the Championship.

Rotherham United have decided to hand three debuts to loan signings Danny Ward, Adam Hammill and Jack Barmby, as they prepare to travel to Brentford in the Championship this afternoon.

United will deploy Huddersfield duo Ward and Hammill as part of a midfield five providing support to lone striker Matt Derbyshire.

Hosts Brentford have not made room for new signing Lewis Macleod in their matchday squad, but midfield duo Jonathan Douglas and Alex Pritchard both return following injuries.

The home side will feature a 4-5-1 formation which sees Andre Gray starting up top on his own, while creative duties will be left to Jota who is to sit a little deeper.

Brentford: Button; Bidwell, Dean, Douglas, Odubajo, Dallas, Gray, Diagouraga, Pritchard, Jota, Tarkowski

Rotherham United: Collin; Wootton, Morgan, Arnason, James; Green, Smallwood; Barmby, Hammill, Ward; Derbyshire
