Brentford lineup vs. Brighton: Predicted XI for Premier League clash as Thomas Frank makes one change

Ten out of 11 retained: Predicted Brentford XI vs. Brighton

Brentford's search for their first home win of 2025 continues on Saturday, when the Bees welcome fellow mid-table battlers Brighton & Hove Albion to the Gtech Community Stadium in the Premier League.

Thomas Frank's men - who have not prevailed on their own patch since December - return to familiar territory after a creditable 1-1 draw with Arsenal, where teenage attacker Gustavo Nunes finally made his Premier League debut after a back injury.

As Rico Henry was also part of the matchday squad at the Emirates, Brentford have just four players left in the treatment room in the shape of Fabio Carvalho (shoulder), Aaron Hickey (fitness), Josh Dasilva (knee) and Igor Thiago (knee).

Hickey may even be in contention to make the bench, but the Scotsman is nowhere near ready to start senior games again, meaning that Michael Kayode and Kristoffer Ajer will battle for the right-back berth.

Ajer got the nod at the Emirates, but Kayode was heavily involved in Yoane Wissa's equaliser and may be better equipped to deal with the speed of Kaoru Mitoma and Pervis Estupinan down that side.

Kayode for Ajer may be the only alteration that Frank considers for Saturday's game, though, as Vitaly Janelt and Christian Norgaard should reprise their midfield partnership, while the attacking quartet will remain unchanged.

Wissa's equaliser vs. Arsenal was his 15th strike of the Premier League season, making Brentford the first team to have two players hit that mark this term; Bryan Mbeumo is one ahead on 16 efforts.

Brentford possible starting lineup: Flekken; Kayode, Collins, Van den Berg, Lewis-Potter; Janelt, Norgaard; Mbeumo, Damsgaard, Schade; Wissa
