Brentford lineup vs. Nottingham Forest: Predicted XI for the Bees' Premier League opener, as Kelleher and Henderson target first starts

Following a summer of upheaval, Brentford will head to the City Ground on Sunday, finally getting back to business with a Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest.

The Bees have not only lost their manager but also key men Bryan Mbeumo and Christian Norgaard, while Yoane Wissa will not play while waiting for the resolution of his request to leave the London club.

First-choice goalkeeper Mark Flekken also departed, to be replaced by Republic of Ireland international Caoimhin Kelleher; however, the ex-Liverpool stopper recently picked up a knock and has only just returned to training.

New boss Keith Andrews has mentioned Kevin Schade as his other fitness doubt, while midfielder Vitaly Janelt is certainly sidelined by an ankle injury.

With Wissa unavailable, Igor Thiago should start up front, after missing most of his first season in England through injury; Fabio Carvalho and Keane Lewis-Potter are favourites to occupy either flank.

Meanwhile, in midfield, Jordan Henderson adopts the Norgaard role: since making his top-flight debut back in 2008, the England star has won possession more times than any other player in the Premier League.

At the other end of the experience scale, Antoni Milambo could make his first competitive appearance since signing from Feyenoord; Italy Under-21s defender Michael Kayode will vie with Aaron Hickey for selection at right-back.
