Szczesny voted best Brentford goalkeeper

Wojciech Szczesny has been named as the best Brentford goalkeeper of the last decade.

The current Arsenal stopper, who spent a season on loan at Griffin Park in 2009, won the accolade after coming out on top in a survey involving the club's supporters.

Szczeny edged out competition from Stuart Nelson, Ben Hamer, Simon Moore, Richard Lee and David Button to claim the honour.

The Poland international made 28 appearances for the Bees in all competitions during the 2009-10 season.
