Brentford out to end 68-year winless record against Leicester

Brentford head into Sunday's Premier League clash with Leicester City with the hopes of ending an unenviable record.

The Bees have now failed to win any of their last seven meetings with the Midlands side, having drawn just one of those and lost six.

They would now have to go back 68 years to March 1953 for the last time they defeated Leicester, as they secured a narrow 3-2 win in the second tier, as reported by Goal.

Thomas Frank's men will also look to correct their home form on Sunday, with both of their defeats in the Premier League this season coming at the Brentford Community Stadium, including their narrow loss to title-chasing Chelsea last Saturday.

Meanwhile, Leicester have now won in their last four trips to Brentford, including FA Cup victories in the previous two seasons, while this is the first time they will meet in a league clash since 1993.

Following their promotion last season, the Bees find themselves in 11th spot after eight games, one point better off than their visitors.
