Dani Alves: 'I've been tempting Thiago Silva to Barcelona'

Barcelona defender Dani Alves has admitted that he is trying to bring Thiago Silva to the club.

The Paris Saint-Germain centre-back has been linked with a move to Barca this summer and his Brazilian teammate has revealed that he is attempting to persuade Silva to join him at the Liga champions.

"I've described the club to him, what he would find here and the advantages of Barcelona," Alves told Radio Montecarlo.

"We need to empower the squad for all the competitions we have to play. If he joined he would come to the best team in the world."

Both Silva and Alves were part of the Brazil side that won the Confederations Cup last week.
