Brazil legend Pele: 'No-one compares to Neymar'

Brazil legend Pele has said that there is no other player that compares to highly-rated youngster Neymar.

The 19-year-old, who was awarded with the Ferenc Puskas award for best goal of 2011, has seen a section of the Santos museum become dedicated to him.

Pele feels that Neymar has fully earned such recognition from his home town club and believes that he cannot be compared to any other player - especially in Brazil.

"Of course it is earned," Pele told Globoesporte.

"At the moment, there is no players, at least here in Brazil, who can be compared to Neymar. Fortunately, he was raised here at Santos.

"We must protect Neymar from all of this [the media], so we don't get disappointed."

Neymar has been consistently linked with a move to Europe, but signed a new deal at Santos until 2014.
