Preview: Brazil vs. Belarus

Brazil vs. Belarus

Brazil opened their Group C Olympic campaign with a 3-2 victory over Egypt on Thursday, while a single goal was enough to give Belarus a 1-0 win over New Zealand.

The top two in the group will clash on Saturday, with the added incentive that the winner will book their spot in the second round of the competition.

Brazil have remarkably never won the Olympic football tournament despite winning the World Cup on five occasions, while Belarus are making their Olympic football debut this year.

Mano Menezes's side have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the match and are likely to remain unchanged, while Belarus are expected to follow suit.

Possible lineups:

Brazil: Neto; Rafael, Thiago Silva, Juan, Marcelo; Sandro, Romulo; Oscar, Hulk, Damiao, Neymar

Belarus: Gutor; Polyakov, Kozlov, Kuzmenok, Politevich; Dragun, Bressan, Solovei, Gordeichuck, Baga; Kornilenko

Sports Mole says: 3-1
